Artichoke Varieties

A wonderful roasting garlic, all round flavor, found by the Bear Creek Farm/Nursery (now Green Wave Gardens) pioneer,  Larry Geno, on the Colville Reservation. Voted top-rated softneck by Rodale kitchens. Milder to moderate heat and full of flavor.  One of our favorites drizzled with olive oil and baked. Our biggest garlic, some over 3 inches in diameter, 8-20 large cloves.  Stores 6-8 months.
